Where to get Clarinaze in Gillingham

Clarinaze is a once-a-day mometasone steroid nasal spray for hay fever and year-round allergies such as dust mites and pets, available from the pharmacy counter for adults aged 18 and over. Mometasone is the same ingredient as prescription Nasonex, so it suits people who have been told to use Nasonex or whose blocked nose has not settled on other sprays.

About Clarinaze

What it is for
Clarinaze Allergy Control is a once-a-day steroid nasal spray for hay fever and other nasal allergies, including a blocked, runny or itchy nose and sneezing.
Suitable for
Adults aged 18 and over
Active ingredient
Mometasone furoate 50 micrograms per spray
Medicine type
Pharmacy medicine. A pharmacist will ask a couple of quick questions before handing it over.

How to use it

Two sprays into each nostril once a day, at the same time each day. Once symptoms are controlled, one spray in each nostril a day may be enough. Shake the bottle, tilt your head slightly forward and aim towards the outer wall of the nostril. Relief usually starts within a day or two but full effect can take up to two weeks.

Who should check with us first

Not for anyone under 18, and not for more than three months without medical advice. As a pharmacy medicine, one of our pharmacists will check it is right for you before supply. Tell us if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have an untreated nose infection, tuberculosis, glaucoma or cataracts, have had recent nasal surgery, or take other steroid medicines.

Always read the label and the leaflet.
