How much do travel vaccines cost?

Most travel clinics ask you to book a consultation before revealing their prices. We publish ours. The table below shows our current travel clinic prices, so you can budget for your trip before you book. Multi-dose courses (such as rabies) are priced per dose, and we'll always confirm the total cost of your recommended course before administering anything.

Prices are subject to change. Your pharmacist will confirm the exact cost during your consultation, before any vaccine is given.

How far in advance should you book?

The ideal window is 4-6 weeks before you fly. Some vaccines need time to build protection, and a few are given as a course over several weeks. Rabies, for example, requires three doses, and hepatitis B protection builds over multiple appointments.

Booking late doesn't mean it's too late. Even if you're flying within the next week or two, many vaccines start protecting you within days, and antimalarial tablets can be started right up to departure. Partial protection plus professional advice on avoiding mosquito bites, food and water risks is far better than travelling unprotected. Call us on 01634 575805 and we'll tell you honestly what can still be done in the time you have.

What to bring to your appointment

A little preparation makes your consultation faster and more accurate. Bring your travel itinerary, including every country you're visiting, how long you're staying, and whether you'll be in cities, rural areas, or trekking. Risk varies enormously within the same country.

Also bring any records of previous vaccinations (including your yellow International Certificate of Vaccination if you have one), a list of medicines you currently take, and details of any long-term health conditions. If you can't find your vaccination history, don't worry. We can still help.
